It’s a year since last post here. We have just passed another anniversary of Dad’s death in July 2010 and it is 10 years since Pat died in January 2016. She would have turned 100 in October this year. The Australian branch of the family is doing well. We are looking forward to the wedding of Scott Corbett and Bec Kite in 2027.
We were saddened to hear of the death of Vancouver cousin, Susan Isaard earlier this year and extend our fond regards to her one daughter, Kendall and our cousins David and John and their families. David T and I met with Susan only a couple of years ago and very much enjoyed our evening. Susan died as a result of heart surgery and it was a tragic surprise for us. Condolences.
We decided this year to inter the ashes of David and Pat here in Canberra at a nice new landscaped area in the public cemetery in Gungahlin, north Canberra. It was a pleasant April day and we followed with an excellent lunch looking over the lake. Both parents would have approved, we think. Here are some pictures

The last photo shows the permanent plaque at the site next to the stream. It is a peaceful setting with ducks and birds its regular visitors and water right nearby. That’s all for now. Hoping all readers are doing well this year.
